IMPORTANT DETAILS + FAQS

Urgent Passport Information

A passport is required for your travels. Do you have one yet? If you do, when does it expire?

A HUGE heads up: Current passport processing time is 6 to 8 weeks.

If you do not have a passport yet, this doesn’t allow much time for a hiccup. I strongly recommend that you get your passport applications submitted NOW! Make sure you get the passport BOOK, not the card—that won’t work for air travel.

If you do have a passport, check your expiration date—make sure that date is at least SIX MONTHS AFTER from the date you return home from your trip. If it isn’t you likely need to renew now!

Do not wait, do not pass go, because there is NO get out of jail free card on this thing!

Visit the U.S. State Department website for more info on what you need to do now to procure or renew your passport.

Absolutely! Please include your requested dates on the reservation form, and I will confirm availability.

How much will this cost?

We will provide a quote that serves as your invoice for deposit. It will include:
  • Round Trip Economy Airfare
  • Hotel Accommodations
  • All Inclusive Amenities (including meals)
  • Round trip transportation between the Cancun International Airport (CUN) and resort with the wedding group only (no complete strangers)
  • Hotel tax & gratuities
  • All wedding events & activities
  • Optional travel insurance is available to protect your investment
  • Applicable discounts for the wedding group

Is there a payment plan?

Yes! Initial deposits are approximately $250 per person (plus insurance) are due at the time of booking and final payment is due September 18, 2025. The couple kindly asks that you make your deposit (which serves as your RSVP) by July 11, 2025.
You are welcome to make additional payments at any time. Payment plans are interest free!

How do I get a quote for my room?

All quotes start with the reservation form. Fill out that form and I will get back to you with a quote. In your reservation form, make sure to include the ROOM TYPE you want to book.

I am sharing a room with another guest. How does that work?

The more, the merrier! If you’re sharing a room, please coordinate with your roommate and designate ONE person to fill out the reservation form.
Reservation forms should be one per ROOM, not one per person. When I get your form, I will email both of you and explain the next steps.
If you and your roommate live at different addresses, please make sure to include the second guest's contact info. This can go in the notes field.

What about airfare?

Your quote will include round trip, economy airfare to Cancun International Airport. Unless otherwise requested, your quote will be for an early afternoon arrival and mid-afternoon departure.

Can I book my airfare with points or miles?

You are welcome to book your own airfare however you'd like (cash, points or miles). If you book your own air, please send me the confirmation asap so I can schedule your ground transportation.

What’s the deal with travel insurance? Do I need it?

Short answer: yes, for sure!

The longer answer: Travel insurance is HIGHLY recommended and protects you if you need to cancel your trip. Since all-inclusive resort stays are pre-paid, insurance protects your investment if you need to change your plans. Without travel insurance, there are no refunds for any reason. Yikes!

Travel insurance is based on the cost of your room. Please see pricing tiers above.

This insurance must be added at the time of DEPOSIT.

Plus, travel insurance includes more than just cancellation coverage. It includes post-departure coverage and medical coverage as well! This is SUCH a biggie because most USA health insurances will NOT work in Mexico. If you need to see a doctor for an illness or even a small mishap, you will be charged in cash upfront before a doctor will treat you. Insurance helps reimburse you for these unexpected costs.

What if I book and need to cancel?

This is where travel insurance comes into play! Since all inclusive resorts are pre-paid AND non-refundable, travel insurance is encouraged to protect your investment. Life is unpredictable; plans can change—but securing travel insurance means you won’t be out $$$$ if life throws you a curveball.

Simply put, without insurance, there are no refunds should your plans change. The cost of insurance is based on the cost of your room (see pricing tiers above).

Do I need a passport?

Yes! All international travelers are required to have a passport, including infants and children. To learn more about the application process, please visit the U.S. Department of State website.

Keep in mind you need the passport BOOK, not just the cheaper passport card. If you already have a passport, please check the expiration date. The U.S. State Department recommends that international travelers have 6 months of validity on their passport after their return trip date.

Can I book a room at a different hotel or resort?

It’s not recommended. Guests staying off property will be charged a day pass to attend the wedding events. The resort has the right to stop selling day passes if the property reaches 90% capacity or greater, so it’s a risky move. Off-property guests are welcome for 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start and will be asked to vacate the premises 30 minutes after the event ends.

What should I wear?
